About this game
Néon Brick-Breaker is an arcade brick-breaker with a retro-neon look. Launch the ball, send it back with your paddle and wipe out every brick on the board. The longer you go without dropping the ball, the higher your combo climbs and the harder your score jumps. Power-ups appear as you break through: a wider paddle, multiball, a piercing ball. The ball speeds up the further you get, so the pressure builds right up to the last brick. Play free in your browser, with nothing to install. How to play
Clear every brick on the board by bouncing the ball off your paddle — and never let it fall.
Game rules
- A paddle sits at the bottom of the screen, with the ball resting on it at the start.
- Launch the ball, then slide the paddle left and right to send it back into the wall of bricks.
- Every brick you hit is destroyed and scores points; the tougher ones take several hits.
- Keep hitting bricks without dropping the ball to build your combo: the higher the combo, the more each brick is worth.
- Power-ups sometimes fall from a broken brick — catch them with the paddle to widen it, split the ball, or make it punch straight through.

How a run ends
The ball speeds up the further you get. The run ends the moment you let it fall, so your job is to clear each board before the pace outruns you.
Tips & strategy
Aim with the edge of the paddle
Hitting the ball dead centre sends it back almost straight up; catching it on an edge gives it a sharp angle. Use that angle to reach the corner bricks, which are hard to clear any other way.
Protect your combo
Your score lives and dies by the combo. Playing a fast ball safely beats a risky shot that breaks the streak — one long clean run is worth far more than a handful of bricks snatched in a hurry.
Don't chase every power-up
Multiball pushes your score up but turns the screen into chaos, and the piercing ball drills a tunnel through the wall. Grab what helps, but never take your eyes off the main ball to go hunting for a capsule in the corner.

Brick-breakers were born in 1976 with Breakout, built at Atari — a project Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak both worked on before founding Apple. The idea was to turn the two-player paddle duel into a solo game, this time against a wall of bricks.
The genre exploded in 1986 with Taito’s Arkanoid, which introduced falling power-ups, indestructible bricks and a final boss. Néon Brick-Breaker carries that legacy — wide paddle, multiball, piercing ball — into a modern neon skin.
